Key responsibilities include:

• Driving the security selection process and actively participating in the investment decision-making process.

• Providing daily analysis and market intelligence regarding market sentiment and trading environment to maximize efficiency of investment decisions.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with local and international securities dealers.

• Providing analytical support to internal departments.

Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

• A first degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position within the financial services industry.

• Knowledge of local fixed income, equities and alternative investments and their trading characteristics.

• Strong oral and written communication skills with emphasis on interpersonal skills.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

• A strong team-player

• Ability to demonstrate tact, confidentiality, and professionalism in the execution of duties.

• Ability to contribute to a high performing team
