Job Summary
To actively promote, sell, and support Burmac’s genuine parts and accessories to existing and potential customers in assigned territories. The Parts Field Sales Representative is responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving assigned sales targets.
Job Responsibilities
Visit customers on a regular call cycle to promote and sell genuine parts, lubricants, and accessories.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory (fleets, workshops, contractors, etc.)
Prepare and deliver quotations, follow up on orders, and close sales.
Ensure timely collection of payments in line with company credit policies.
Provide technical advice, product knowledge, and parts application guidance to customers.
Liaise with the Parts Department to check stock availability, delivery timelines, and ensure customers’ orders are processed promptly.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends; provide feedback to management.
Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales performance, and outstanding issues.
Conduct product presentations, promotions, and customer training where required.
Participate in sales campaigns, special promotions, and customer events organized by the company.
Actively manage customer complaints and escalate unresolved issues to management.
Maintain equipment, and tools in good condition.
Continuously improve knowledge of BURMAC products and services by attending training sessions and self-learning.
Any other duties related to sales and customer support as directed by management.
Job Standards
Ability to meet monthly sales and collection targets.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Demonstrate initiative in seeking new opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Sound product knowledge and ability to explain technical details clearly.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 CXC passes.
Certificate/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field (an asset).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in field sales (preferably in automotive, heavy equipment, or machinery parts)
Certificate in Computer Literacy (MS Office, DMS experience an asset).
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Requirements
Applicants must own a reliable vehicle, which will be required to perform the duties of this role.
