To maintain general administrative function with responsibility for Stationery and Reception.

JOB DUTIES

The Receptionist/Admin Assistant, under the supervision of the Assistant Accountant is responsible for: 

  • Manage Stationery function
    • Maintain adequate stationery supplies and fulfill stationery request per guidelines.
    • Conduct monthly stock counts
    • Ensure all pre-numbered documents (used and returned) are securely stored and properly issued (cheques, receipt books, delivery notes, etc.)
    • Ensure filing is within established guidelines
  • Reception
    • Greet and direct all visitors
    • Respond to and direct all incoming calls.
      • Address queries and/or complaints and redirect as required.
    • Manage receipt and delivery of mail and door-to-door packages
  • Other administrative functions that Management may from time to time assign to this position. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of five (5) CXC O’ Level passes inclusive of Mathematics and English. 
  • Pursuing tertiary education will be an asset.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
