The Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and executing the company’s social media presence to strengthen brand awareness, promote security services, and support business growth. The role focuses on communicating TSSL’s service offerings, corporate values, and operational strengths across digital platforms while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and brand integrity.
The successful candidate will balance creativity with analytics to produce engaging, informative, and compliant content that supports customer engagement, recruitment branding, and market positioning within the security and telecommunications services sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with TSSL’s marketing, sales, and corporate communication objectives.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and audience behavior within the security and service sector.
- Ensure all social media activity aligns with the company’s brand, operational standards, and reputational requirements.
2. Content Creation & Management
- Create, curate, and schedule professional, engaging, and brand-aligned content (graphics, videos, captions, announcements) across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others as required.
- Promote TSSL’s security services, including guarding, electronic security solutions, and cash-in-transit (CIT) services, in a clear and responsible manner.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to capture operational highlights, corporate initiatives, recruitment messaging, and community engagement activities.
3. Community & Reputation Management
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate manner.
- Escalate sensitive or operationally critical issues in accordance with company protocols.
- Support positive brand perception by fostering engagement and trust with the public, clients, and prospective employees.
4. Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics including engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, and campaign outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports and insights to inform management of digital performance and opportunities for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
5. Campaign & Advertising Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of paid social media campaigns to support brand awareness, recruitment, and service promotion.
- Support content testing and optimization to improve visibility and engagement.
- Contribute to integrated campaigns aligned with corporate initiatives and business development objectives.
6. Trend Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed on social media trends, tools, and platform updates relevant to corporate and service-based organizations.
- Recommend innovative yet appropriate approaches to strengthen TSSL’s digital presence while maintaining professionalism and security awareness.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Human Resources, Operations, and Sales teams to align digital messaging with recruitment needs, service delivery, and corporate communications.
- Support employer branding initiatives and internal communication campaigns as required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a social media, digital marketing, or content-focused role.
- Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms and best practices.
- Experience using social media management and analytics tools.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare actionable performance reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with graphic design or content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Basic video editing skills for short-form content.
- Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and employer branding principles.
- Familiarity with service-based or security-related industries is an asset.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset.
