JOB RESPONSIBILTY  

Maximize sales, revenue and subscriber growth opportunities via outbound calls, through the signing up of new customers and upselling existing for Mobile services.

 

 

MAIN DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS

  • Position the value of mobile products and services to new customers in order for them to apply for the service.
  • Upsell existing customers with additional products and services that will enhance their experience in mobile services.
  • Anticipate future need for assistance and providing for customers’ unspoken need.
  • Assist the process for installations, reconnections, change of services, trouble calls and special request orders into system.
  • Schedule and follow up customer’s orders/requests.
  • Work towards and achieve assigned sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Maintain a strong brand presence by representing Digicel professionally in all interactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving basic issues, and guiding customers on product usage.
  • Any other duties within the scope of the job periodically assigned by Manager.

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 CXC passes (Mathematics and English included).
  • Additional sales training or certifications is an advantage.
  • Experience in direct sales, retail sales, or field marketing is preferred but not required.

 

SKILLS/COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive approach.
  • Sales-driven with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of telecom products and services, and applications.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to handle rejection positively.
  • Strong ability to connect with diverse customers and build relationships.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
