Issuing Clerk (GMG/AM1)

The incumbent is responsible to inspect and verify products, materials and equipment before storing in warehouse. Execute loading and unloading operations and ensure compliance of safety procedures

Job Title:             Issuing Clerk

Reports To:                   Warehouse Supervisor

Summary:            The incumbent is responsible to inspect and verify products, materials and equipment before storing in warehouse. Execute loading and unloading operations and ensure compliance of safety procedures and practices in warehouse operations.

• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Organization of materials and equipment
• Good warehousing practices followed
• Raw material inventories
• Orders are filled within stipulated time
• Goods are accurately picked and issued

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport raw material to Batch Room
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Sort and place materials or equipment according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations clean & properly organize
• Ensure goods requested by plant managers and shift managers are picked on a timely basis.  All issuing of goods must be done by warehouse supervisor or designate.
• Ensure correct quantities, and specifications are issued.
• Participate in all raw material inventories.
• Pick & Stage goods for delivery
• Assist with weekly cycle count
• Label all warehouse locations & Product locations and maintained same
• Print barcode labels for batch room
• Report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to supervisor.
• Follow up on requisitions and clarify any issues with supervisor
• Assembling and packaging of goods

Follow company policies regarding inventory control and material handling.

• Ensure safety protocols are observed when handling goods.

Other Responsibilities

• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor

Performance Standards:

•  Loading and unloading of materials and equipment in keeping with established standards
• Maintenance of proper safety procedures
• Maintain clean organized area in keeping with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Company’s standards

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

• 5 CXC Included English & Mathematics or Equivalent
• 2 years working experience in warehouse environment                               

Working Conditions:

• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Required to lift and move heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)
• Dusty environment.
• Noisy Environment
• Hot Environment  

Basic Salary: $1,439,455.00 - $1,935,907.00 per annum
