Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit & Collections Manager to lead our credit control operations. The successful candidate will oversee timely payment collections, minimize credit risks, resolve disputes, and continuously improve debt recovery processes. This role also includes assessing customer creditworthiness, setting credit terms, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to improve collections and reduce delinquency.
• Establish and enforce credit and collection policies.
• Monitor customer aging and analyze credit applications to set limits and terms.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports and contribute to annual budget planning.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Train, coach, and supervise team members.
• Conduct trade visits as required.

Education/Training/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (distribution sector experience is an asset).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and credit/collections management.
