WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER The incumbent would be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the department including maintaining inventory, warehouse security and the timely delivery of jobs.
Our client is seeking to hire permanently a Materials Manager. Must have a minimum of 12 years experience in a supply chain environment and 5 years in a senior supervisory position.
The incumbent will oversee purchasing, procurement and product planning for the Company. He/She will lead and support in areas of purchasing timing, budgeting, merchandising, product turn, freight, pricing, negotiation, distribution, food quality and food safety.
- Investigate stock problems that may arise on a daily basis and correct same. - Reconcile foreign statements with Account Payable and follow up any discrepancies via correspondence.
The SCM Manager will be responsible for designing and executing strategies and plans to meet SCM requirements, including subcontracting, purchasing, planning and scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, goods receipt and the Logistics processes.
