WAREHOUSE AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

Warehouse and distribution management

The incumbent will be required to effectively and efficiently manage the warehouse, fleet operation, and a team  to achieve the agreed performance objectives, mitigate spoilage/losses, accidents, theft and other operational risk factors.

Desired knowledge and skills are:

Minimum of a Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or Warehouse Management;

Expert knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and distribution of fast moving consumer goods;

Expert knowledge of FIFO, truck loading and routing,

At least three (3) years experience in a similar capacity;

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suites and Barcoding tools;

Knowledge of standard accounting best practices;

Awareness of Quality Management systems, food safety, sanitation and pest control best practices;

Excellent people management, customer service and communications skills;

Sound moral and ethical values;

Candidate must be flexible and available to work on shift or weekend if required;

Valid Food Handler’s Permit.

Knowledge of forklift operation and commercial driver's licence.
