Van Sales Assistant

The Van Sales Assistant is responsible for manually moving stock/merchandise and performing other unskilled general labour.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Receives oral instructions to determine work assignment.

• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets.

• Move stock/merchandise from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles by hand or using pallet jacks and other equipment.

• Sort merchandise before loading and unloading as required.

• Load and unload trucks/vans.

• Carry needed tools and supplies from storage, vans or trucks and return them after use.

• Perform other related duties as required by job function
