The Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and administration of training and development activities across the organization.

Job Summary:

The Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and administration of training and development activities across the organization. This role ensures the smooth execution of training programs, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with stakeholders to support employee development and compliance with organizational standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Training Coordination & Delivery Support
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions (internal and external) in line with the training calendar.
  • Liaise with internal facilitators and external training providers to organize logistics (venues, materials, equipment).
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials, presentations, assessments, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide on-the-day coordination support for training sessions.
  • Support the delivery of training sessions where required (e.g., onboarding, basic programs).

2. Training Needs Support

  • Assist with the collection of training needs from departments and employees.
  • Maintain records of identified training needs and track completion.
  • Support the HR Manager in identifying priority training areas based on business requirements.

3. Learning Administration & Records Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, attendance logs, and certification tracking.
  • Update and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) or training database.
  • Ensure all mandatory and compliance training records are current and properly documented.
  • Prepare training reports and summaries as required.

4. Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Distribute and collect training evaluations and feedback forms.
  • Compile and analyze basic training feedback data.
  • Assist in tracking training effectiveness and completion rates.
  • Follow up with participants and managers on training completion where necessary.

5. Vendor & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with external training providers and vendors for scheduling and delivery.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations and processing training-related documentation.
  • Support the management of training logistics within budget guidelines.

6. General Support

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation training coordination.
  • Support employee development initiatives and engagement activities related to learning.
  • Ensure training activities align with company policies, safety, and quality standards.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Education, or a related field.
  • Relevant certification in training or HR is an asset.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in training coordination, HR, or administrative support roles.
  • Experience working with training systems or LMS is an asset.
