We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Training Assistant at our Kingston location.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all manual and electronic training records are up to date, including performance data, to support management in tracking staff development.
  • Support the timely delivery of training programs that meet the objectives of the company and clients, in collaboration with department heads.
  • Handle all aspects of training logistics, including venue bookings, catering arrangements, material preparation, room setup, and equipment transport.
  • Assist with onboarding and staff orientation, as well as supporting employees with completion of online and airline-specific training requirements.
  • Ensure training manuals are updated and readily accessible; maintain inventory of stationery and training supplies.
  • Compile staff lists, issue joining instructions, and distribute training certificates upon course completion.
  • Keep employee training databases current, generate reports and statistics as required, and assist colleagues in database use.
  • Track expiration dates for certifications and ensure all required trainings and read-and-signs are completed on schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and external training providers to manage inquiries, schedule sessions, and resolve issues.
  • Conduct research and gather feedback to help align training content with industry changes and evolving company needs.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1–2 years of experience in administration or training coordination.
  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Experience in the airline industry (minimum 5 years preferred)
