OVERVIEW:
KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”). The Client is setting up a new Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team at KJESS to support its Strategic Sourcing Procurement (SSP) operations. The TPRM team will support KPMG to ensure all new and existing suppliers meet the TPRM standards throughout the supplier lifecycle. The TPRM team will be a key point of contact and liaison between KPMG’s internal stakeholders and suppliers for assigned agreements.
Team members within the delivery center work with the Client under a team extension model to support the Client’s procurement operations.
JOB SUMMARY:
As the KJESS Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the US Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Entity Clearance team. This entails but is not limited to assisting the senior team members in facilitating and supporting the reviewing and clearing of third-party entities against internal KPMG policies and controls. You will be required to ensure all new and existing suppliers meet KPMG standards throughout the Supplier lifecycle. You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our stakeholders, guiding them through the third-party clearance process, ongoing monitoring, re-certification and annual clearance, and termination processes in alignment with predefined SLA’s. You will also be a subkey point of contact for our internal business stakeholders and internal control groups.
You are a hands-on self-starter who proactively communicates in a clear and concise manner across written and verbal mediums. A strong sense of detail and driver of results is a must. Relentless prioritization skills with a drive to get tasks done is imperative for success.
You will be expected to deliver ongoing training to current and new team members, reviewing and recommending updates to process documentation where required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery
- Execute the onboarding process for third party entities that are assigned in accordance with our established standard operating procedures and risk management process.
- Initiate, execute, and track due diligence screenings; secure necessary approvals for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Third Party Compliance (TPC) teams; and collect and review required documentation.
- Reviews include independence checks, background checks, corporate registration verification, and PCAOB status validation
- Utilize workflow and case management tools and document repositories to maintain accurate, audit-ready records of third-party evaluations using ServiceNow, OneTrust, SharePoint, and Coupa to track requests, document due diligence, and ensure proper record retention and approvals.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with teams and third parties to ensure the timely provision of required information and documentation.
- Continuously monitor ongoing validation activities and reperform required tasks, including due diligence, risk assessments, and independence evaluations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a general risk, compliance, IT, legal role, preferably with Prior experience with Third Park Risk Management or eGRC systems

- Expected to work in a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between working from home in Jamaica and being in the office. You will be required to spend a minimum of five days each month in the office, though this number may increase depending on business needs

- Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to perform activities and communicate.
