Job Summary

  • To perform technical training as required aimed at upgrading skill levels of technicians. To recommend improvements, tooling, training needed by technicians to deliver higher levels of performance. To maintain and facilitate effective communication between all service staff to maximize customer feedback and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead diagnostic efforts and provide technical guidance to technicians on complex vehicle issues.
  • Oversee and conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure resolution of customer concerns.
  • Coach and mentor technicians to strengthen diagnostic skills, repair quality, and overall performance.
  • Monitor completion of required training and support continuous technical development across the team.
  • Review and approve completed jobs for quality assurance and compliance with service standards.
  • Identify tooling, equipment, and process needs to improve efficiency and technician readiness.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new technicians into the team and workflow.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to warranty and compliance requirements.
  • Champion workplace safety by enforcing PPE use and health & safety protocols.
  • Promote open communication and collaboration across the service team to ensure a high standard of customer service and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • BSc. In Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Process)
  • Supervisory Skills Certification will be considered an asset
  • Certificate in Customer Service will be considered an asset.
