The Business Development Officer is generally accountable for the attainment and execution of all food and feed export logistics for their assigned export territory.
Reporting to the Manager, Market Business Development, this role is responsible for driving sales and executing logistics and marketing strategies aimed at growing and retaining our export customer base. This is a travelling sales role that involves working closely with the Export Coordinator to manage client needs, provide quotations, product samples, marketing materials and ensure smooth execution of the order to cash process. The incumbent will be expected to meet territory targets, maintain strong communication with other internal teams and external customers and ensure receivables are collected within approved credit terms. A key aspect of the role includes forecasting demands to ensure product availability aligns with market needs.
