System Administrator/Team Lead

Location: Mayaro

Our client in the financial service sector is seeking to recruit a highly skilled System Administrator to manage, maintain, and advance their IT and business systems infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure maximum availability of technology resources, lead system upgrades and new technology implementation, strengthen IT security, and support seamless operations.

Reports to: Manager and Board

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize servers, networks, databases, and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead IT projects, hardware/software procurement, and system upgrades.
• Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Support end users with timely IT assistance and training.
• Develop IT policies, procedures, and reports for the Board.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Professional certifications (A+, Network+, MCSE, CCNA/CCDA)
• desirable.
• 3–5 years’ experience in system administration, network infrastructure, and IT project management.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Salary range: $10,000.00 to $15,000.00 per month.
