Within the Quick Service Restaurant sector, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring end-to-end supply continuity, cost control, and operational efficiency across all restaurants, by managing procurement, inventory, logistics and supplier performance in an import-dependent environment.

This role is responsible for the implementation of supply chain strategies that achieve cost savings, process improvements and service redesign. The role involves the management of the entire procurement process, sourcing of suppliers and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain while optimizing costs. Manages the internal operations and resources of the purchasing department to enable the delivery of saving targets, quality improvements and day to day operations. Builds professional relationships with all stakeholders and collaborates with cross-functional teams while making strategic decisions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification, plus:

 Professional training in Accounting and Supply Chain Management.

At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position;
Ability to work within a cross-functional team environment, manage multiple tasks and project manageme

Knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures including re-order levels.

 Knowledge of government regulations regarding imports, wharfage and clearance procedures.
 Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
 Sound knowledge of EDP systems and their applications.

  Experience using SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of international logistics
