Ensure the accuracy of the physical inventory in the club and expedites necessary reports with findings and recommendations.
Key Requirements:
•Minimum two (2) years of university-based studies in Business Administration, Accounting or similar areas. Degree preferred.
•Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail environment.
•Health and Food Handling Certification
Skills Associated:
•Ability to communicate effectively.
•Excellent math skills.
•Exceptional customer service skills.
•Knowledge of Windows operating systems and AS400.
•Proficient in English and/or Spanish languages (verbal and written).
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct physical inventory at the Centralized Processing Facility.
•Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between the physical inventory and the perpetual inventory in the system.
•Identify shrinkage issues and make relevant recommendations.
•Coordinate and verify all club transfers of merchandise to another club.
•Ensure compliance with all inventory control procedures.
•Maintain updated log files.
•Track merchandise that arrives and does not appear with the necessary documentation.
•Physical audits when necessary to detect incorrect merchandise receipts, problems of system and/or shrinkage etc.
•Prepare weekly reports to the Associate Director, Centralized Processes on any aspect of inventory control procedure.
•Reconciles purchase orders and investigates discrepancies in the vendor invoices.
•Review summary of the daily sales.
•Support in Buying and Business Services departments.
•Track discrepancies in variances.
