Job Summary-Processing, storing and organizing Stores Inventory ensuring all related systematic Stores transactions are completed accurately as well as within stipulated timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of stores requisitions, staging and issuing to requestors.
- Verifying incoming receipts against all relevant documentation and three-way match.
- Communicate all anomalies/discrepancies and seek resolution.
- Perform all system receipts and issues on a daily basis using the ERP program.
- Raising Purchase Requisitions on the ERP system for timely stock replenishment as per min/max levels or as required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, labelling, storing and maintaining layout of Stores inventory.
- Conduct weekly perpetual counts for stock accuracy and assist with reconciling variances within 24 hours.
- Assist in monthly and / or quarterly stock-taking of all Stores inventory.
- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies/ procedures.
- Perform any other duties as required by the job function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Basic numeric and literacy skills.
- Computer Literacy.
- Forklift license would be considered an asset.
- At least one year experience working within a Stores environment, or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
- Good numerical skills.
- Knowledge in inventory controls and management.
- Physical dexterity.
