Senior Facilities Engineer (Process)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process & Facilities Engineer to lead all aspects of facilities operations, focusing on maintenance, compliance, and process optimization.

This role involves developing and implementing strategic improvements to streamline workflows and maximize operational efficiency.The successful candidate will drive initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance through data analysis, technical solutions, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Facility Management

• Develop and execute long-term facility strategies aligned with business objectives, including capital expenditure planning.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement facility optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures.

Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
• Manage facility maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Monitor and manage facility budgets, implementing cost control measures.

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
• Apply Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and enhance product quality.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
• Design and execute pilot projects to test new process technologies.

Project Management

• Initiate and manage capital projects related to process improvements and facility upgrades.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Process Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role, with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in facility management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
