Sanitation Personnel

We’re seeking dedicated Sanitation Personnels to ensure our kitchen, airline equipment, and facilities meet top standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, in line with HACCP and company guidelines.

Goddard Catering Group (Jamaica) Ltd., a member of the GCG Group Inc., operates in twenty-one countries acros Latin America, the Caribbean, and the USA. We are seeking to recruit resourceful, skilled and highly motivated individuals to join the GCG Team in the capacity of Sanitation Personnel at our Montego Bay location.

The Sanitation Personnel will be based in Montego Bay and will report directly to the Sanitation Supervisor with dotted lines to the Shift Manager. Join our team today and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our customers.

Major Responsibilites:

• Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, organized, and free from hazards. 
• Use pot-washing machinery, industrial dishwashers, and other sanitation tools in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company hygiene standards.
• Regularly wash, sanitize, and store utensils, pots, pans, trays, and other equipment, removing damaged or chipped items from circulation and updating the breakage register as needed.
• Collect and remove trash from all areas, ensuring correct disposal according to company, hotel, and recycling guidelines. Keep waste bin areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Safely handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals following Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines. Monitor chemical levels and report when replenishment is needed.
  
• Ensure large equipment, tools, and work areas are always clean and in good working order to support efficient kitchen and flight preparation operations.
  
• Work closely with kitchen, airline, and operations teams to ensure cleanliness schedules are met and operational disruptions are minimized.
  
• Carry out any reasonable tasks requested by management to support sanitation, safety, and operational goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be able to read, write and fluently communicate in English.

• Must posses a minimum of 3 CXCs

• Must be able to lift heavy weights.

• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
