The Role

JN Life Insurance is seeking a results-driven Sales Team Lead to manage, coach, and drive the performance of a team of Life Insurance Advisors.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 6–8 Life Insurance Advisors
  • Set clear sales, activity, and service targets for the team
  • Monitor daily sales activity and submission of completed applications
  • Track individual and team performance; provide regular feedback and coaching
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new advisors
  • Conduct joint field visits and sales calls to support advisors
  • Review policy delivery, lapse, and arrears reports; take corrective action where needed
  • Ensure advisors maintain FSC certification and JAIFA registration
  • Prepare and submit accurate monthly sales and performance reports
  • Support cross-selling initiatives, referrals, and promotional activities

 

What Success Looks Like

  • Monthly new business targets achieved across all assigned product lines
  • Team activity and productivity targets consistently met
  • High policy delivery and persistency levels maintained
  • Lapse and arrears kept within company standards
  • Sales reports submitted on time and with accuracy
  • Advisors remain compliant, certified, and actively productive

 

Compensation

  • Commission-based earnings, including override commissions on team sales (Earnings are dependent on individual and team performance. Actual income may vary and is not guaranteed)

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in life insurance sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • OLT and Equity-Linked certification (preferred)

 

Skills

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage performance
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
