To develop and implement Strategies and Objectives aimed at increasing market share and profitability of the Division. To manage the process and operations of the Department, consistent with realizing the overall strategic objectives of the Division and by extension the Automotive Sector.

Job Summary:

  • To develop and implement Strategies and Objectives aimed at increasing market share and profitability of the Division. To manage the process and operations of the Department, consistent with realizing the overall strategic objectives of the Division and by extension the Automotive Sector.

Job Description:

  • Participates in the Division’s strategic planning process.
  • Develops Sales Plans in accordance with the Divisions strategic plan ensuring that plans are focused on obtaining the stated objectives.
  • Continuously monitors brand performance to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Evaluates promotional activities to determine the effectiveness of promotional efforts.
  • Conducts customer reviews and assesses the competition to ensure that Division maintains market share.
  • Monitors and controls financial budgets to provide updates on expenses and plan adjustments.
  • Manages cross-function relationships of distribution, production and purchasing to ensure that there is symmetry.
  • Provides insight to advertising and similar agencies on the design and public relations campaigns and monitors the development implementation and evaluation of such campaigns.
  • Develops and maintains a consultative communication system with marketing personnel and subordinate team members of reviewing operating performance and personnel performance related problems and initiate creative solutions to address, correct, identified deficiencies.
  • Contributes to overall team efforts by developing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sets performance objectives of subordinate staff and identifies training and development needs.
  • Advises, guides, instructs and directs subordinate staff in achieving departmental objectives.
  • To perform any duties which may or may not be related to the above as requested by Management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • Masters degree (MBA) qualification would be considered an asset
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Digital Marketing & Online Sales Tool Knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years Sales experience, with at least two in managerial capacity
