This position is responsible for supporting the team in activities for workplace engagement and campaign, community engagement, individual engagement: communication, public relations and advertising management and fundraising strategies as well as marketing and materials production.

This position serves as an entry-level relationship role and provides overall program support, management and administrative support to the Resources Development Team. This position is responsible for supporting the team in activities for workplace engagement and campaign, community engagement, individual engagement: communication, public relations and advertising management and fundraising strategies as well as marketing and materials production.

Salary Range: $7,000 to $10,000

Status: 1-year Contract subject to renew and full-time employment. This position requires working to a flexible schedule with the possibility of some early morning, evening, and weekend work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation
• Maintain funding partners and other constituent data in established databases files and other electronic and print systems in a timely manner.
• Create and run routine and special reports and provide support in the analysis of the data. Formulate status reports and dashboards to track, monitor, and report status of team operations as required.
• Support tracking of financial contributions in a timely manner so gifts can be acknowledged and credited to appropriate person(s).
• Schedule donor/volunteer meetings, prepare call lists, research prospects.
• Proactively respond to donor inquiries, including answering questions and resolving concerns. Troubleshoot as needed.
• Support and execute presentations.

Administrative Support
• Schedule internal and external meetings, attend meetings and take minutes, support any pre-work that might need to be done and prepare materials including follow-up documents.
• Perform general administrative tasks including such activities such as generating and editing documents, coordinating mailings, preparing personalized pledge cards and thank-you letters, creating leadership packets for corporate campaigns and/or individual donors as requested, troubleshooting problems with administrative processes, and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency.

Marketing and Events
• Assist in preparing and uploading materials to websites and social media platforms to ensure that they are up to date and as interactive as possible.
• Support with the development of digital and social media approaches to community engagement
• Support with preparation and implementation of special events
Other Duties
• Volunteer and actively participate in Community Impact and Funding Partners projects as appropriate and relevant.
• Provide back-up support to other UWTT team members as required.
• Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience. Five or more years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree will be considered.
• Non-profit service experience will be an asset.
• Fund-raising experience will be an asset.
• Computer proficiency with emphasis on Microsoft office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience working with social media and databases will be an asset.
