Reports To: Service Reception Manager/Workshop Manager
Job Summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers and visitors, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-desk experience. This role supports the sales, service, and administrative teams by managing incoming calls, greeting customers, and performing general clerical duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Front Desk
a. Greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
b. Direct customers to the appropriate department or staff member.
c. Frequent interaction with customers, sales representatives, and service advisors.
d. Answer and manage incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages when necessary.
e. Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
2. Administrative Support
a. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, and deliveries.
b. Maintain appointment schedules for test drives, service bookings, and sales meetings.
c. Assist with filing, photocopying, and data entry as required.
d. Support sales and service departments with customer paperwork and follow-up calls.
3. Skills & Competencies
a. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
b. Strong customer service orientation.
c. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
d. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
e. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications
a. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role (automotive experience preferred).
b. Minimum 5 CSEC passes including Maths and English
c. Other Basics – Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
