Our Aftersales Team is currently looking for a talented Quality Controller to be the responsible for ensuring that all vehicles leaving the workshop meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for verifying that all repairs and services have been completed properly, road testing vehicles when required, and identifying any additional or unresolved issues before delivery to the customer. By collaborating with Technicians, Service Advisors, Dispatchers, and the Service Manager, the Quality Controller safeguards the reputation of the dealership through quality workmanship and proactive issue resolution.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Performs road tests with customers in the morning to confirm the nature of any reported issues.
  • Supports Service Advisors during morning check-ins with technical assessments and guidance.
  • Road test vehicles with Technicians after work completion to verify that repairs have resolved all concerns.
  • Inspects vehicles post-repair or service to confirm that work is complete, and manufacturer requirements are met (e.g., lights, fluid levels, battery, etc.).
  • Ensures all serviced vehicles are returned to customers in a fully operational and clean condition.
  • Identifies and documents any additional faults found during inspections and communicates them to the Service Advisor for follow-up with the customer.
  • Investigates and addresses quality concerns or complaints related to workmanship.
  • Inspects comeback vehicles and newly purchased used vehicles to ensure that any necessary corrective actions have been executed thoroughly.
  • Assists and guides Technicians in maintaining safety and procedural compliance while offering diagnostic support and technical advice as needed.
  • Collaborates monthly with the Dispatcher, Workshop Lead, and Service Manager to review recurring issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Fosters a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment by communicating clearly and constructively with team members and customers.
  • Actively listens to feedback and concerns, consistently representing the dealership’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Performs all duties responsibly and professionally, including safe operation of tools, prompt reporting of safety issues, maintaining a professional appearance, and completing tasks assigned by management.
  • Primarily workshop-based with regular road testing and inspections, exposure to workshop conditions, and occasional early starts or extended hours as needed.

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on workshop experience, preferably with exposure to quality inspection or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Recognized technical qualification in Automotive Engineering (e.g., City & Guilds Level 1 & 2 or equivalent).
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
