Job Summary

Responsible for driving revenue growth, maintaining strong margins, managing customer relationships, and expanding our market presence for Berger Protective and Marine Coatings and International Paints within the Marine and Oil and Gas Sector across Trinidad and Tobago

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and gross profit (GP) targets
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking
  • Lead pricing negotiations, tender submissions, and contract closure activities
  • Identify and secure new PMC opportunities in marine repair, corrosion control projects, industrial maintenance, and infrastructure rehabilitation
  • Implement marketing plans and initiatives to support brand visibility and product promotion
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Conduct price research and market analysis to ensure competitive positioning and informed pricing strategies
  • Manage receivables by ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining healthy customer credit profiles
  • Conduct site visits, product presentations, and technical discussions with clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, finance, fulfilment) to ensure seamless customer service and project execution
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Degree and major if applicable; Sales or Business Administration
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a Sales-related role
  • Exposure to the Construction Sector would be an asset
  • Knowledge/Ability to sell, Customer Relationship Management, Forecasting and Reporting
