Project Lead

The Project Lead is responsible for the coordination of people, resources and processes to ensure Sector projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Job Summary:

The Project Lead is responsible for the coordination of people, resources and processes to ensure Sector projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Project Lead will also be responsible for the development of detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and preventing scope creep.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform any other job duties as required by the job function.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc/BA in Business Management, Project Management or related field
• PMP Certification
• At least five (5) years’ role specific experience
