Provides administrative and planning support to the Production Department, including data entry, inventory tracking, reporting, and compliance documentation.
The Production Planner provides administrative and planning support to the Production Department. The role is responsible for accurate data entry, inventory monitoring, production reporting, and compliance documentation to support efficient production operations.
Enter and maintain accurate production, inventory, and requisition data in company systems
Monitor inventory levels including raw materials, packaging, PPE, and consumables
Coordinate with Production and Procurement teams to support timely replenishment and minimise excess stock
Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption, forecasts, and production performance
Analyse inventory discrepancies and production variances and report findings to the Executive Chef
Perform administrative duties including filing, employee records, training documentation, payroll support, and leave tracking
Support compliance with HSE, HACCP, food safety, and quality standards
Assist with data entry for recipe costings, menu specifications, SOPs, and related documentation
Ensure adherence to all safety, hygiene, and food safety requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Administration or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a food service, catering, or production environment
Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of basic First Aid will be considered an asset
Strong data entry, numerical, and reporting skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced production environment
Team player with a strong customer-service focus
