JOB RESPONSIBILTY:

Analyze sales and customer data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support sales strategies and business growth. This role will work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer care teams to drive business performance, optimize sales processes and customer retention.

 

MAIN DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS

Product Development:

  • Manage current products and services working on any issues with IT and Technical and ensuring they are fixed in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance and ongoing improvement/development of all core products in portfolio.
  • Track the status of existing products and new product development across the portfolio and report on this weekly and monthly.
  • Actively participate in the product development process, including concept and business case preparation, project planning and implementation, testing and launch.
  • Manage the allocation of numbers across all services to ensure timely and accurate set-up of new services as well as managing changes to existing services.
  • Review competitive products and services with advise on competitive positioning relative to Digicel’s offering.
  • Working with the Head of Consumer Sales and Services on analysis, setting up and testing of new price plans and promotions.

 

Market Research & Insights:

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze customer data to identify target segments (especially high-value customers) for new and existing products and services.
  • Recommend pricing strategies based on market conditions and competitor analysis.
  • Conduct ROI analysis for marketing and promotional campaigns within the consumer sales segment.
  • Provide business intelligence support for new product launches and sales initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions and improve overall sales performance.

 

Sales Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze sales performance data for consumer services to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor sales KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, customer acquisition, churn, and revenue growth.
  • Assist the sales teams to forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Provide detailed and actionable sales reports to senior management, offering insights into trends and customer behavior.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs, campaign performance, and sales targets.

 

Sales Strategy Optimization:

  • Provide support in the development of sales strategies for consumer products and services.
  • Assist in the design and execution of targeted sales campaigns to improve customer acquisition and retention
  • Suggest improvements to the sales process to increase efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Work with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals and track the impact of promotional activities.
  • Support strategic planning by delivering insights into consumer behavior, market competition, and product uptake

 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Mangement.

  • Liaise with BI, IT, and Finance to ensure data alignment and strategic execution, and accurate delivery of services statistics and KPIs for both reporting and product management purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to ensure alignment of sales goals and strategies.

 

Skills/Competencies Required

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, economics, marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the telecommunications industry (preferred).
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales forecasting tools is a plus.
