To dispense lenses and frames according to written optical prescription and Unicomer Group policies, procedures, standards and guidelines and provide the highest standard of patient assistance with frame and lens selection.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

• Recommends eyeglass frames and lens treatments based on their prescription, vision needs and style preferences to ensure that they make the best and most compatible choice, and experience good customer service.
• Measures eyes and face to ensure that lenses and frames are consistent with prescription and best fit is achieved.
• Checks, repairs or adjusts broken eyeglass frames and finished eyeglasses upon receipt from the lab, as necessary, to guarantee sustained customer satisfaction and accurate. prescriptions, measurements, alignment and absence of scratches.
• Educates patients about prescriptions, fits contact lenses and eyewear to ensure effective use and longevity of eyewear and contact lenses.
• Creates and maintains dispensary reports outlining all jobs sent to the lab to ensure that accurate payments are made in a timely manner.
• Provides relief in the absence of the Optical Store Manager to ensure the continuation of store operation.
• Performs any other related duty assigned by your management line to ensure the proper operation of the store.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Business Administration/Management Studies or any other related field.
• A minimum of two (2) years working in the field of Optical Dispensing.
• Experience in a retail sales environment will be an asset.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Competent in optical adjustments, repairs, prescription interpretation and quality assurance.
• Strong customer service skills.
