Position Summary:

Highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the full operational workflow — from inventory management, production, and quality assurance to sales support. OM will take full ownership of the end-to-end process flow, managing incoming work orders through to the production, completion, and on-time delivery of our blinds and shading systems.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and team performance, while using metrics and KPIs to monitor and continuously improve operational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Operations Management

  • Oversee the complete process from incoming work orders to final product delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate the four critical operational pillars: Inventory, Production, Quality, and Sales Support.
  • Develop systems to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials and components.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely restocking without overstocking.
  • Implement and Oversee inventory accuracy and reporting systems.

Production Oversight

  • Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on work orders.
  • Lead the production team to meet volume, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Quality Control

  • Define and enforce quality standards across all product lines.
  • Introduce inspection processes at key production checkpoints.
  • Monitor returns, defects, and customer feedback to drive improvements.

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with the Sales team to forecast demand and align production capacity.
  • Ensure clear communication channels between Sales, Production, and Delivery teams.
  • Support the timely and accurate fulfillment of custom and bulk orders.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Build, train, and retain a high-performing production and operations team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.
  • Develop team roles and succession plans as the company grows.

Metrics & Performance Monitoring

  • Define and track operational KPIs for production efficiency, order fulfillment, quality, and inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze data and reports to guide strategic decisions.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on operational health and project status.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in blinds, window treatments, furniture, or custom fabrication.
  • Proven ability to manage inventory, production lines, quality systems, and sales operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in made-to-order or custom manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of window coverings, shading systems, and fabrication processes.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong grasp of operational analytics and metrics.
