Apex Medical is seeking a qualified and experienced Nephrologist to join our Medical Team Part-Time. Candidate must be capable of working independently, providing evaluation, diagnosis, and managing patients with kidney-related diseases. Available to Visit the BVI every 3 months for 3-5 days

Apex Medical Center is seeking a qualified and experienced Nephrologist to join our Medical Team Part-Time.

Candidate must be capable of working independently, providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with kidney-related diseases while maintaining the highest standards of medical care.

Must be Available to Visit the BVI every 3 months for about 3-5 days.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases
• Manage patients with hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and renal failure
• Provide oversight and management of dialysis patients, where applicable
• Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, and diagnostic results
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in accordance with BVI standards
• Provide patient education on disease management and prevention
• Comply with all ethical, professional, and regulatory requirements of the BVI Medical Board
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary

Minimum Education & Professional Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent from a recognized medical school
• Completion of an accredited Nephrology Fellowship (perferred)
