Apex Medical Center is seeking a qualified and experienced Nephrologist to join our Medical Team Part-Time.
Candidate must be capable of working independently, providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with kidney-related diseases while maintaining the highest standards of medical care.
Must be Available to Visit the BVI every 3 months for about 3-5 days.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases
- Manage patients with hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and renal failure
- Provide oversight and management of dialysis patients, where applicable
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, and diagnostic results
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in accordance with BVI standards
- Provide patient education on disease management and prevention
- Comply with all ethical, professional, and regulatory requirements of the BVI Medical Board
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary
Minimum Education & Professional Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent from a recognized medical school
- Completion of an accredited Nephrology Fellowship (perferred)
