Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator/Officer plays a strategic and tactical role in managing the brands and boosting visibility for both our restaurant and used vehicle sales company. This person leads the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, keeping the brand image fresh, aligned, and engaging across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Markets products and services by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Develop annual, quarterly and monthly marketing strategies tailored to each line of business.
- Develop and manage content calendars for each brand in alignment with marketing goals.
- Organize and maintain a content library (sorted by brand, date, topic) for internal reference and repurposing.
- Set campaign objectives (e.g., increased foot traffic, promotion of new vehicles, new menu launches) and track performance against targets.
- Create and manage integrated content and marketing calendars.
Content & Creative Direction
- Brief the Content Creator with content themes, messaging, and execution guidelines.
- Draft content plans for product promotions, seasonal campaigns, and key holidays.
- Write or edit creative captions, promotional text, post descriptions and promotional headlines.
- Ensure consistent tone, visuals, and messaging across all channels and campaigns.
Social Media Management
- Oversee posting schedules varying social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram.
- Monitor comments, messages, and reviews, responding appropriately or escalating as needed.
- Use social media management tools to automate posts and analyze engagement.
Market Research & Trend Analysis
- Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and gaps.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, digital tools, and platform algorithms.
- Recommend new strategies, platforms, or partnerships to reach targeted demographics.
- Monitor popular content trends and viral formats across social platforms to inform creation style and keep the brand content fresh and relevant.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as engagement, growth, click-throughs, and ad spend performance.
- Prepare monthly performance reports with data-driven recommendations.
- Track ROI for paid ads, partnerships, and promotions.
Event Coordination & Offline Marketing
- Plan, promote, and execute pop-up events, community sponsorships, customer giveaways, and test drive activations.
- Liaise with vendors, media houses, and printing suppliers to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
- Execute online and offline marketing initiatives (e.g., promotions, giveaways, etc.).
- Coordinate with third-party advertisers (e.g., radio, print, digital).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field and at least 2 years work experience in digital marketing or a similar capacity OR Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field and 3 years’ experience in digital marketing or a similar capacity.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience segmentation.
- Effective communication and copywriting skills.
Desirable:
- Experience managing multi-brand campaigns.
- Understanding of restaurant, automotive ans e-commerce industry audiences.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or various marketing platforms.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced, creative environment.
- Split responsibilities between restaurant and vehicle sales locations.
- Flexible working hours with occasional travel between business locations and weekend or evening work.
- Must be able to work on-site at both the restaurant and car dealership as needed.
