The Maintenance Supervisor oversees preventive maintenance of equipment, ensures safety compliance, supervises staff and drives operational efficiency.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees preventive maintenance for all Drilling and Completion Fluids equipment, ensuring asset integrity and compliance with QHSSE standards.


EDUCATION

  • A minimum of Five (5) CXC O’Level passes (including Math and English) AND
  • A Technical Certificate (EEET, MET, etc)
  • Relevant tertiary level industry qualifications


EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience as a Mechanic or Mechanical Engineering Technician
  • Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.


SKILLS AND KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong organizational and communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure
  • Understanding of quality management, industry regulations, and risk mitigation
  • Committed to client service, safety standards, and continuous improvement


FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute preventative maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Manage CMMS software for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities
  • Generate and manage maintenance work requests and orders
  • Conduct safety inspections and lead toolbox meetings to reinforce compliance
  • Maintain asset records and monitor inventory to support operational readiness
  • Prepare maintenance planners and participate in weekly reviews
  • Ensure maintenance procedures are properly executed and documented
  • Lead equipment organization and clean up initiatives
  • Communicate daily activities and updates to management
  • Supervise welding and fabrication activities to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to specification
