Seeking a Maintenance Coordinator skilled in the supervision of all maintenance activities for both GSE Fleet and Facilities. This position supports the implementation and documentation of maintenance policies and HSSE guidelines as well as GCG Group standards, policies and procedures.

Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Administrative Management

  • Overseas the completion of all Work Orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within Amadeus.
  • Perform internal audits of maintenance forms for Equipment & Check sheets.
  • Ensure all documentation is organized and up to date.
  • Participate in Audits for all Airlines.
  • Complete payroll timely and manage overtime.
  • Track and monitor all KPIs and deliverables, prepare reports as necessary.
  • Develop new projects for the department with emphasis on efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Coordinate and schedule manpower to ensure there is adequate coverage during any emergency related to the equipment, machinery or fleet.

 

 Equipment, Fleet & Facility Management

  • Overseas the day-to-day operation of the department ensuring the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and vehicles in accordance with the rules and regulations of the company, the airlines and other industry partners.
  • Review the Logbook daily to identify and rectify any listed problems related to failures on any piece of equipment or machinery.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assessment of preventive and corrective maintenance works completed by staff to ensure adherence to company and maintenance specifications.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for major equipment failures.
  • Follow up with Procurement/Warehouse in relation to requested spares
  • Generate S.O.P to standardize processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that the facilities, external aspects of the building and grounds are kept up to date in relation to landscaping, cleanliness and sanitization as needed

 

Personnel Management

  • Efficiently supervise and train staff to ensure they have the right skills and attitudes to perform the functions of their roles.
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, training, motivation and appraisal of staff in the Maintenance Department.
  • Participates in the selection of contractors, consultants, and suppliers, and where necessary prepares scope of work.
  • Set rules and procedures for employees to follow. This includes setting policies in the workplace to ensure effective implementation and adherence among every employee in the department.
  • Ensure employees comply with the safety and security regulations as set out in the Goddard Enterprises Ltd. Health, Safety & Environment Manual by staying alert and being aware of customer and staff actions and behavior.
  • Maintain high standards of employee morale and promote an atmosphere of cooperation.
  • Monitor and maintain records with signature of all staff having read and understood information shared via internal and external bulletins and memos.
  • Ensure that all corporate information (including but not limited to financial, human resources, strategy, plans etc.) is adequately protected and treated as confidential.
  • Assists the department in any other related functions as needed to meet the goals of the organization.

  • Ability to complete a variety of tasks independently, appropriately prioritizing workload and applying technical knowledge to make broad decisions as required.
  • Ability to manage highly complex projects.
  • Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Analytical and Detailed Oriented.
  • Great communication skills

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum or three (3) years working with Diesel, Gasoline and Hydraulic Systems
  • A minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid Driver’s license. Defensive Driving an asset.
  • Valid Heavy-Duty or Forklift license would be an asset
  • MS Office an asset
