Sales & Marketing Representative

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales & Marketing Representative is responsible for acquiring new and retaining existing business in the areas of both Contract and One-Off Sales. This includes sales presentations to customers and ensuring customer service satisfaction in collaboration with the Operations Manager. Other areas will include achieving Annual Sales Goals and working with the Sales Administrator & General Manager in Developing a Marketing Plan.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A degree in Marketing or Finance or equivalent is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in similar field
  • Must have at least 5 CXC Certificates including English Language and Mathematics or GCE O’Levels or CAPE

TYPES OF SALES/MARKETING

  • Commercial Cleaning Sales
  • Hygiene Sales
  • General sales

TYPES OF CUSTOMERS

  • Commercial establishments, Industrial establishments, Professional clients, Malls, Churches, Manufacturing Plants and Government Agencies.
  • Tenders for Services - these can be obtained through the newspaper, online platforms and other mediums.

ON THE JOB TRAINING

  • Must complete Fundamentals of Commercial cleaning yearly.
  • Any other relevant or relatable Training Programmes determined by Management.

TRANSPORATION

  • Own Transportation
  • Valid Drivers’ License

Work Environment

  • Working within an office environment
  • On site visits to potential/existing customers as required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Prepare or assist with the preparation of costings, quotations and contractual or one-off sales proposals.
  • Ability to write clear and concise correspondence including quotations and proposals to Customers in a timely manner
  • Required to carry out Direct Sales duties either with onsite visits or tele sales channels.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins with clients after sale or signed contracts ensuring client retention and additional services.
  • Sourcing information as necessary for the Sales and Operations Department to effectively complete services
  • Complete daily reports and timely submission of all documents (quotations, costings, new and end of service authorization, scope of services, Job Work Order, chemical and equipment sheets, reports etc.) as specified or within 2-3 business days.
  • Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
  • Provide clients with presentations of the benefits and uses of goods or services provided by Pilot.
  • Able to apply strategic planning and organization to ensure optimization within the Sales and Operations Department
  • Perform any other job-related duties to achieve Pilot’s goals.

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
This job is satisfactorily performed when:

  • Tasks are performed accurately and within time frames specified.
  • Quotations and contracts are completed and submitted to Management and or customers within a timely manner.
  • Documents are submitted to the Operations Department in a timely manner to ensure proper execution of all jobs.
  • Customers are satisfied with the level of service provided.
  • Good human relations skill is demonstrated in dealing with all personnel internal & external.
  • The rules and procedures of the company are observed.
  • Confidentiality and integrity are maintained at all times.
