Logistics and Supply Chain Officer
Job Summary
The Logistics Officer – is responsible for ensuring the seamless, timely, and cost-effective delivery of finished products to Bresheh’s clients. This role focuses exclusively on outbound logistics, managing the final leg of the supply chain to ensure customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. The Logistics Officer will coordinate with couriers, delivery partners, and in-house resources to optimize delivery efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold Bresheh’s commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Planning & Execution
•Plan and oversee the efficient routing and scheduling of last-mile deliveries.
•Coordinate with delivery drivers, couriers, and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch
and fulfillment.
•Monitor deliveries in real-time and proactively address delays or issues.
•Ensure proper packaging and labelling of products for safe transport.
2. Customer Experience & Satisfaction
•Ensure customers receive their orders in a timely and satisfactory manner.
•Handle and resolve delivery-related customer complaints professionally.
•Provide proactive updates to customers regarding delivery status.
•Work closely with the customer service team to improve order fulfillment efficiency.
3. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
•Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure finished products are ready for dispatch.
•Maintain accurate records of dispatched and delivered orders.
•Ensure optimal storage and handling procedures to minimise damages and losses.
4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
•Track and report key last-mile logistics metrics (e.g., delivery times, costs, order accuracy).
•Analyse delivery performance and implement process improvements.
•Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
•Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovative last-mile delivery solutions.
5. Compliance & Safety
•Ensure all deliveries comply with local transportation regulations.
•Maintain a safe and organized workspace for logistics operations. Adhere to health and safety processes and policies.
•Train delivery personnel on best practices for handling and transporting goods.
Requirements & Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
•Experience: 2+ years of experience in last-mile delivery, logistics, or supply chain management.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Familiarity with delivery tracking and logistics management software.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenges.
•Knowledge of local transportation networks and delivery best practices.
