ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidates should possess the following academic qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computing/Animation/Artificial Intelligence.
Candidates with a PhD or with robust evidence that the doctorate is close to being achieved will have a distinct advantage
- a minimum of five (5) years’ teaching experience at the tertiary level
- Training in Education would be an asset
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Preference will be given to individuals with requisite knowledge, skills and competency to teach the practices and processes associated with Animation, Computer Information Systems and Applied AI. The candidate must demonstrate clear evidence of productivity in scholarly and or creative output and a commitment to research. He/She will offer teaching through a variety of means, including lectures, practicals, small group tutorials, problem-based learning, and 'e-learning' initiatives, and will be expected to innovate in each of these areas.
The candidate should:
- be engaged in relevant research and community service
- be a member of a professional organization and have an interest in developing services to industry and the public at large
