Laundry Supervisor

Ensure the efficient operation of the department, ensuring rigorous compliance with the standards, processes and policies established by Blue DIamond Resorts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Leadership:

• Supervise and coordinate laundry staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance and support.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations.

• Operational Management:

• Oversee sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packing of laundry items.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and quality standards.
• Manage workflow to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

• Equipment & Maintenance:

• Monitor the proper functioning of laundry machines and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with technical staff.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of equipment.

• Quality Control:

• Inspect finished laundry for quality standards.
• Address any issues related to damage or quality defects promptly.

• Inventory & Supplies:

• Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals, and other supplies.
• Reorder stock as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce safety policies and procedures among staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Reporting:

• Maintain records of daily operations, staff attendance, and production output.
• Prepare reports for management as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in laundry operations or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
