Assistant Laundry Manager

The Assistant Laundry Manager supports the Laundry Manager in overseeing daily laundry operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Support:
• Assist in planning and coordinating daily laundry activities.
• Supervise and support laundry staff to ensure adherence to operational procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of laundry tasks and deliveries.
• Staff Supervision & Training:
• Support in training new staff and providing ongoing coaching.
• Monitor team performance and motivate staff to achieve productivity goals.
• Quality & Standards:
• Conduct quality checks on finished laundry items.
• Address any issues related to damage, stains, or quality defects.
• Equipment & Maintenance:
• Assist in scheduling routine maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues promptly.
• Inventory & Supplies Management:
• Oversee stock levels of detergents, chemicals, and supplies.
• Assist in procurement and inventory control.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
• Promote a safe working environment and conduct safety briefings.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain operational records, attendance, and production reports.
• Assist in preparing reports for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in laundry operations or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
