Laundry Maintenance Manager

The Laundry Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of all laundry equipment and facilities. Ensuring minimal downtime, compliance with safety standards, and optimal performance of laundry operations are key aspects of this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repairs:
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all laundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs.
• Operational Oversight:
• Monitor daily operations to ensure laundry machines are functioning efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Team Management:
• Supervise and train maintenance staff, including technicians and helpers.
• Schedule maintenance activities and allocate resources effectively.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training.
• Record Keeping & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
• Track equipment performance metrics and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment status.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly.
• Promote a safety-conscious work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in laundry or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of laundry machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently.
• Relevant technical certifications or training preferred.

Educational Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or related field.
