The successful candidate reports to Group Senior Vice President Internal Audit and is responsible for day-to-day management of internal audit activities, supporting the management of the overall risk and assurance plan of the assigned Portfolio and developing and mentoring internal audit staff.

Massy Limited is looking for a suitably qualified applicant to fill the post of Internal Audit Manager in its Internal Audit Department. The successful candidate reports to Group Senior Vice President Internal Audit and is responsible for day-to-day management of internal audit activities, supporting the management of the overall risk and assurance plan of the assigned Portfolio and developing and mentoring internal audit staff.

Main Duties: 

• Leads the development and execution of a comprehensive risk-based internal audit plan,
• Directs and oversee all phases of complex audit engagements, from planning and fieldwork to reporting and follow-up, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Monitors emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory developments, while supporting fraud investigations and special projects that protect the organization's assets, reputation, and long-term success.
• Provides independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, compliance, and internal control frameworks, safeguarding the organization's assets, reputation, and operational integrity.
• Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing expert guidance on corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and business process improvements.
• Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing Internal Audit team while fostering a culture of accountability, ethical conduct, professional excellence, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information.
• Systems (MIS) or Business Administration required.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CIA, CPA or CISA, required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in internal audit, IT audit or public accounting role.
• Relevant Industry experience such as machine and automotive, retail and distribution, oil and gas or finance preferred.
• Relevant internal control or risk management experience, including but not limited to COSO framework.
