Internal Audit

The role includes performing internal audit procedures, preparing the necessary supporting working papers and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed.

Job Title: Internal Audit 

Qualification:

• Demonstrated pursuit of a Professional accounting/auditing designation e.g. ACCA or CIA.
• Minimum one year of auditing experience, may be in a public accounting firm
• Knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Competence to build interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• Ability to use influencing skills to accomplish goals and objectives
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Key Functions

•  Execute individual audit projects to examine auditable units, risk areas and control weaknesses of functional and operating units.
• Prepare audit work programs, working papers and draft reports to reflect the results of the work performed.
• Perform post implementation reviews on internal audit issues previously identified.
• Attend, execute procedures and provide feedback on monthly inventory accounts at any of the company’s locations
• Assist in the maintenance of the tracking system to report on the status of completion of internal audit issues previously reported. 
• Build a communication plan in advance of anticipated difficult interactions where required
