The IMM Planner is responsible for timely replenishment of raw and packaging materials to meet production needs at optimized costs. This role contributes to product availability and involves making recommendations while addressing supply constraints with procurement and logistics suppliers.

The IMM Planner is responsible for the timely replenishment of all Raw and Packaging materials to meet production requirements at overall optimized costs, contributing to product availability in order to meet Sales Objectives. The IMM Planner makes recommendations and constructively challenges supply constraints in Procurement and Logistics terms with material and transport suppliers.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Plan and manage orders for raw and packaging materials, ensuring they align with expiration dates, stock levels, lead times, and lot sizes to prevent stockouts and optimize working capital.
  • Attend weekly production meetings to assess plans with the Supply Planner, addressing any supply risks to maintain the availability of materials for both local and export production.
  • Regularly review stock cover policies and planning parameters to meet service levels and sales targets while considering supply risks and production constraints.
  • Participate in monthly stock ageing meetings with cross-functional teams to identify at-risk materials and propose solutions to minimize potential write-offs.
  • Prepare and track purchase orders for timely material delivery, compile monthly Working Capital and Stock Cover Reports, and engage in innovation meetings to coordinate product development and production trials.
  • Identify and report on risks and opportunities in the supply chain to ensure proactive actions are taken to achieve business results.                                        

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Experience in the supply chain planning area, specifically in supply planning or demand planning, with a minimum of 2 years in a relevant role.
  • Educational background is not exclusive, but an industrial engineering degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level is required.
