The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of key human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, payroll processing, and the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational HR support and report directly to the Senior Human Resource Officer.
  • Maintain and manage personnel files for all fortnightly staff, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including applicant screening, shortlisting, scheduling and conducting interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Process employee leave, contracts, job letters, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Review and verify staff rosters and timesheets for payroll purposes.
  • Process and manage NIBTT forms and other statutory documentation.
  • Implement, communicate, and enforce HR policies and procedures, including matters related to hiring, employee contracts, disciplinary actions, suspensions, and terminations, in accordance with company policy and labour legislation.
  • Provide routine HR guidance and support to department heads as required.
  • Coordinate with departments to identify staffing requirements and support recruitment needs.
  • Ensure all HR filing systems (FN and miscellaneous) are properly organized, maintained, and archived.
  • Prepare, process, and reconcile the fortnightly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor and record employee time and attendance.
  • Maintain the inventory system for staff movie tickets/passes and ensure accurate distribution with payslips.
  • Reconcile and manage the company’s uniform inventory.
  • Assist with the documentation and updating of HR procedures and processes.
  • Maintain archived records for current and former employees in line with company policy.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and provide assistance with additional tasks as required.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and payroll administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in document management, including filing, preparing correspondence, and processing incoming and outgoing communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
