The Hardware Store Manager is responsible for managing daily activities, leading a dynamic sales team, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and delivering exceptional customer service.

ARC Manufacturing Limited, one of Jamaica’s leading manufacturers and distributors of building materials, is inviting applications from qualified individuals to fill the position of Hardware Store Manager.

SCOPE

The Hardware Store Manager is responsible for managing daily activities, leading a dynamic sales team, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory, including stock levels, ordering, and storage
  • Grow sales and deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage and develop staff
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
  • Support promotions and build strong customer relationships

 Required Qualification, Skills and Competences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a hardware store management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction building materials and their applications.
  • Knowledge in inventory control and stock management.
