ANSA McAL is looking for a qualified and dynamic candidate to join our team as an HRIS Business Integrator!

Reports To: HRIS Analytics & Data Integration Manager
Location: Group Head Office

POSITION OVERVIEW

The HRIS Business Integrator & Projects role is responsible for driving the integration and optimization of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) with business processes and functions whilst ensuring portfolio management for GHR projects. The individual will act as a bridge between the HR and IT departments, ensuring seamless integration of HRIS tools with other business systems and supporting HR projects. This role is pivotal in implementing new HRIS features, managing system upgrades, and ensuring that HR technology solutions are efficiently utilized to support HR initiatives, enhance user experience, and improve overall operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HRIS Integration & System Optimization:

  • Lead and manage the integration of HRIS with various business systems (e.g., Payroll, SuccessFactors, D365 etc.)
  • Work closely with IT and external vendors to ensure successful integration and functionality of the HRIS system.
  • Identify areas where HRIS can be leveraged to improve HR business processes and workflow automation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HRIS integration and system performance.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvement.

2. Project Management & Implementation:

  • Support and manage HRIS-related projects from initiation to closure, including system upgrades, new module rollouts, and software changes.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; track progress, manage risks, and report on project status to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that HRIS projects meet business requirements and align with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (HR, IT, vendors) to ensure timely and successful project implementation.
  • Support user training and communication efforts related to new HRIS implementations and updates.

3. Business Requirements Analysis:

  • Collaborate with HR leaders to understand business requirements, objectives, and challenges.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and
  • design and implement solutions.
  • Regularly assess system functionality and gather feedback from HR end-users to identify areas for improvement.

4. System Maintenance & Support:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HRIS-related issues, providing troubleshooting support and resolving technical issues.
  • Manage system access, security roles, and permissions for HRIS users.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure that HRIS software is up-to-date, and support testing and deployment of updates.
  • Support and manage tickets on systems (SAP, HRIZONS & Sysaid, etc).

5. Reporting & Data Analysis:

  • Work with HR and other departments to develop reports and dashboards that provide insights into HR data (e.g., headcount, turnover, compensation, performance, etc.).
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency within the HRIS.
  • Utilize analytics tools to produce meaningful insights that help drive decision-making within HR functions.
  • Design and implement dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide key stakeholders with real-time insights into workforce metrics, employee lifecycle, and HR performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems, including HRIS integration, project management, and system optimization.
  • Experience with popular HRIS platforms (e.g. Payroll123  SuccessFactors, etc) is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and practices (e.g., payroll, benefits, talent management, recruitment).
  • Proven project management experience, including managing cross-functional teams and working with external vendors.
  • Change Management experience would be an asset.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency in HRIS software, SQL, data analysis tools, and reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and organizational skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of HR data security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with system testing and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with HR data analytics and reporting tools.
