Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Corporate Banking team in the capacity of:

 HEART Trainee – Corporate Banking

Assist clients with the respective queries in a professional and customer- friendly manner.

Increase public awareness of Sagicor’s products and services.

Ensure all KYC documents received are validated and clients file are updated accordingly.

In partnership with HEART/NSTA TRUST, Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking candidates for the School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) specially designed to bridge the gap between school and the world of work for recent school leavers. Our School Leavers’ Training Opportunities Programme (SLTOP) is for school leavers between the ages of 17 to 23, who have six or more CXC or GCE passes including English Language and Mathematics. In the SLTOP, trainees have the opportunity to work with Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited for up to one year, where they can fully acquaint themselves with the company’s daily operations in order to gain rich, immersive practical knowledge.

Location: Kingston 

As HEART Trainee, you will:

• Interact daily with customers by phone and email.
• Perform KYC remediation for clients.
• Make changes to the relevant systems used to carry out customers’ requests, consistent with company’s policy and practice.
• Keep accurate electronic log of all KYC update.
• Compose and disseminate routine correspondences.
• Update clients on the status of their request.
• Handle resubmission of clients’ requests by the relationship team.
• Disseminate accurate information to both internal and external customers.
• Submit monthly report as required to establish the status of the KYC remediation.
• Perform any other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• A minimum of six (6) CXC or GCE “O” level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
• Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Basic knowledge of life insurance operations.
• Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
• Good time management and human relations skills.
• Ability to type.
• Ability to work under pressure
